Equipment Control

• Equipment Control will be located at the Ocean Center beginning October 10. Please see below for a full schedule of dates and times when equipment may be submitted for inspection:

• All equipment must adhere to FIE standards.

• Fencers should be aware of the following information regarding equipment check:

1. Fencers may provide their equipment for inspection no more than one day before their competition – earlier equipment checks will not be permitted.

2. Fencers fencing in multiple weapon categories (e.g. in epee and foil), can provide their equipment for inspection no more than one day before the event they are fencing. For other weapons, please provide your equipment for inspection the day before you are competing in that category.

3. National logos are mandatory on fencing breeches (on both legs)

4. Name and Nationality of the fencers must be printed on the back of the jacket according to FIE guidelines.
